Built in various sizes, a clear polycarbonate roof and windows on 3 sides, this greenhouse will allow plenty of sunlight in and still protect your plants from the elements as they grow. Also included is cedartone shelving on all greenhouses, as is a painted white interior to allow for maximum reflection of light as well as to protect the interior. The love of gardening is a seed once sown that never dies.
You’ll want to place your greenhouse on firm, level gravel in a spot that gets plenty of sunshine. Orient your greenhouse’s roof so that it runs north-south—our greenhouses aren’t built for the winter, so this orientation splits sunshine evenly throughout spring, summer, and fall. Make sure your greenhouse is placed at least 1 meter (3 ft) away from any obstruction, but build it near some tree cover to prevent windchill.
These greenhouses are not designed for winter use. You can, however, insulate our greenhouses and add heating sources if you want to try to grow in the winter.
Absolutely. Even a small greenhouse can dramatically extend your growing season, and smaller greenhouses are perfect for hobbyists and small businesses. You can grow plants that wouldn’t ordinarily grow in your region, and you can grow more plants over the course of the season.
